Road Ready!
Hello to our loyal and trusty Bloomers! This past week has been crazy for all 5 of us. We have laughed, we have cried, and some of us even took pictures....this was all of course over Hilde losing his Mullet. I have to say that we all enjoyed it while it lasted, but like most great and revered things,... some must die to become even greater. Some of you know what I mean....right?
We finally got a chance to review our show at NewSong last week and what a great time we had with all of our new and old fans. We also have spent some time in The Dungeon writing some new songs that hopefully most of you will get to hear in the next month or two.
The most exciting news coming this next month is the road events. We are going to be heading to Memphis, TN this weekend to play at Murphy's and also for a Muscular Dystrophy event on Saturday. Sunday following Memphis from Friday and Saturday we will be in Mount Juliet at the Center Coffee House. We are looking forward to rocking out with Knapsack Heros, Salient, Pengea, and Greenside Manner. After this weekend we head off to Indianapolis to enjoy some ol' time fun in the Hoosier State. We will be playing at Locals Only in Indy on Friday and then The Building in New Castle on Sunday for a Big Back to School Bash. So, needless to say in the next 16 days Mario and Link are going to be getting lots of workouts on my Nintendo DS. You know what I'm Sayin'!
We also celebrated our great friend and confidant, Chris Cotton's birthday this week with some excellent Mediterranean food and some great time of fellowship with family and industry friends.
Lastly, I have to say that Hilde, Brink and I really, really enjoyed a night on the town last night at the BMI 8 off 8th and saw one of the HUGE advantages of living in the Music City. We saw some great bands like Biscuits and Gravy and Brandy Sellerz. Check it out....they were really tight....but as for now, that is your update from the best 5 piece rock band that starts with an "M" and ends with "anic Bloom" I hope you are all doing well and we want to hear from you more than you know, so please send us comments and e-mails and we will get back to you asap.
Love you all,
Andy-Roo
