We had an amazing week with Next Big Nashville and we were very very blessed to be able to play a killer show on Saturday night at the Rutledge.  Thank you all who came out and supported our efforts.  Funny news about the Rutledge-- Last month when we played there, I was lucky enough to play the whole show, while not realizing that my fly was unzipped the entire time...yeah, pretty awesome....BUT, what is even AWESOMER (is that a word?) is that this time Matt forgot to zip his fly up for the Next Big Nashville show.  Now some may think that we planned it this way, but it was simply sheer coincidence that we did this, and I believe it is David's turn next.  Find out if it will happen next, by staying tuned to all of our upcoming Rutledge shows....ha, ha.

It was a pleasure to be able to go to the conferences and seminars associated with Next Big Nashville as well.  We were able to attend meetings that included Kevin Lyman and Sarah Baer from The Vans Warp Tour and see some long time familiar faces at the BMI VIP Brunch.  Other perks were being able to meet some bigger management companies and rubbing shoulders with some A&R associates as well.

Moving forward, we are still working on the album frantically, and hope to have it done around the New Year.  Hilde, Brad (our sound guy) and I will be going to TX to work on a number of different things, including recording music, partnering with Firemen Lawn Car, and playing a show at Texas A&M and the rest of Manic Bloom will come down later to join up with Dude Perfect in November.
