Dude......... (perfect)
I know I say this a lot on blogs, but a lot of stuff has been happening in the world of Bloom!
If you haven't heard it, we've got a new song streaming on our website (
www.manicbloom.com) that is also appearing in a new
Dude Perfect video! The visuals do not disappoint - I'm always left with my jaw on the ground wondering how these shots are physically possible. The guys called us last week wanting to use a song from our upcoming EP, so we scrambled to get a version of 'Never Back Down' created. It's not going to be the same version as the one on the actual EP, but we're incredibly happy with what we were able to do.
We've been recording a lot - Brink was banging the drums on Saturday for a solid 8 hours at Sunset Blvd studios in Brentwood - huge thanks to Steve Dady for helping us get the sound we need, and letting us use such an awesome studio! (If you're in the Nashville area and need a studio, look him up)
We were on the local buzz last night with Tony Stone, which is always awesome. We're playing a show at the Rutledge in Nashville on Saturday, and a few of the bands on the bill were interviewing to give a litle promo. We're also playing the Rutledge next wednesday - Sept 9 - so if you're in the Nashville area either of those nights, we'd love to see you!
Hopefully more news soon about our partnership with Tinderbox for College Radio and TV placement, and maybe some more snippets of songs! We've gotten some emails/messages/comments lately that have seriously lifted our spirits and kept us motivated through this recording process! You're all awesome! We can't do this without you!

Just like many of us, i've come to know of this band through dudeperfect.
Never back down is an incredible tune and in my eyes if promoted correctly before lauch you guys could have a future number 1 on your hands.
Keep producing tunes like these and you've got a big future ahead of u.

I heard this song like the thousands of other people off the Dude Perfect video. This song is absolutely awesome, and I have started to download some of your other tracks. Keep up the great songs, hope you can make it to Pittsburgh sometime!

"Mam" actually isn't finished being written yet... I'm not sure it'll make it on the EP, but we'll release a version of it as soon as we can!

Awwwwsome piece of music, came across it via Dude Perfect. Will look out to buy my first piece of music since ages from you guys. Whenever you come to Europe I will have to move my old ass to go to a concert once more.
